POW for March 2 is… Matt Borton.

Matt honestly was the only consistent player during both games, which is impressive considering he was battling the perils of Cenazar. What’s cool is he actually won it last time Seattle Pacific played those two schools, and here he is: winning it again. Very exciting stuff.

During the Falcons game against Central Washington, Matt was nothing short of fantastic -picking up 17 boards and scoring 15 points along with two steals, a block, and a foul. Against Northwest Nazarene, he grabbed 13 rebounds while scoring 13 points and picking up an assist as well as two fouls.

Nice to see him bounce back; he had a double-double against MSUB the previous week as well, but obviously was ineligible for POW because one game only.

Congrats Matt -good luck this week in the tourney!

Our final bracketology prediction’ll be up in an hour.
