Player-of-the-Week Nominees

Yup, it’s a late day. It’s February. Midterms. Woo-hoo!

UAF: Ashton Edwards -great game against UAA with 18 points and five assists.
UAA: Travis Thompson -starting to kick it into high gear, had 23 points and 7 assists vs. rival UAF.
SFU: Sango -because he is their entire offense, night in and night out, although Rod Evans-Taylor is also notable.
WWU: Anye Turner -two monster games.
SPU: Riley Stockton  -knows how to be effective off the ball, not a great week of play for the Falcons overall.
MSUB: Kendall Denham -two good games, he’s a distributor, he’s a freshman -love it! Gonna be good for years to come.
CWU: Joe Stroud -yet another great conference power forward doing the dirty work.
NNU: Erik Kinney -Major minutes, major rebounding, major assisting, and a bunch of points scored; Junior. Love it.
SMU: Riley Carel -Riley was okay against NNU and had monster game at CWU with 19 points, six boards, and eight assists -WOW!
WOU: Andy Avgi -dude’s gotta be exhausted; had his way with Central and did well against NNU.

UAA and UAF are ineligible to win because it’s player-of-the-week, not player-of-the-night. The announcement’ll be up next.
